The commodities listed contributed to inflation in March 2018, among others: cayenne pepper, onion, chicken meat, gasoline, banana, red chilli, fresh anion, instant noodle, cucumber, powder, green mustard, tempe, tomato and beans.
Out of 82 CPI cities, there were 57 cities experiencing inflation and 25 cities experiencing deflation. The highest inflation was recorded in Jayapura (Papua) of 2.10 percent and the lowest recorded in Sumenep (East Java) by 0.01 percent.
