Abstract

The Bali Farmer Exchange Rate Index (NTP) of Bali Province in April 2018 recorded a decline of 0.31 percent, from 103.50 in March 2018, to 103.18. In terms of index received by farmers (It), recorded a decrease of 0.10 percent, from 132.68 to 132.54. Meanwhile, in terms of index paid by farmers (Ib), recorded an increase of 0.21 percent, from 128.19 to 128.45.

The fall in NTP in April 2018 was recorded in almost all sub-sectors except for Livestock which rose by 1.32 percent. The largest decrease in NTP was recorded in Food Crops Sub-sector by 2.33 percent, followed by Fisheries Sub-sector by 0.70 percent, Subsector of Smallholder Plantation 0.64 percent, and Horticulture Subsector 0.40 percent.

In April 2018, the province of Bali recorded a rural inflation of 0.20 percent. Meanwhile, nationally recorded rural inflation of 0.04 percent.

Of the 33 provinces surveyed by rural inflation in April 2018, 24 provinces recorded inflation, with the highest inflation recorded in Gorontalo Province reaching 1.45 percent and the lowest in the Province of DKI Jakarta by 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, 9 provinces recorded deflation, with the deepest deflation recorded in D.I. Yogyakarta reached 0.58 percent.
