April 2018, the number of international airplane departures from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport was recorded at 2,980 flight units or an increase of 1.74 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) which reached 2,929 units. The number of international flight passengers in the same period (m to m) increased by 9.78 percent, from 488,730 people in March 2018 to 536,515 in April 2018. In line with airline passengers, the number of luggage and international air freight as well experienced an increase (m to m) of 7.89 percent, from 7.7 million tons to 8.3 million tons.
For domestic air transport, the number of aircraft departing from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in April 2018 was 3,704 flight units, up 5.23 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) of 3,520 flight units. The number of passengers recorded reached 468,663 people or an increase of 9.79 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) which reached 426,854 people. The number of baggage and goods also increased by 12.25 percent from 4.3 million tons in March 2018 to 4.9 million tons in April 2018 (m to m).
For sea transport, the number of ships departing from several ports in Bali Province in April 2018 was 2,065 units, and decreased by -15.37 percent from the previous month (m to m), which was recorded at 2,440 units. The number of ship passengers in April 2018 was recorded at 242,926 people. This number rose 6.80 percent compared to the state of the previous month (m to m) which reached 227,462 people. While the different conditions are shown for the transport of goods in the same period and transportation mode reached 14,290 tons, or decreased by -5.47 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) of 15.118 tons recorded.
