The number of foreign tourists to Bali province in April 2018 increased by 4.89 percent compared to the March 2018 (m to m) record. When compared to April 2017 (y on y), the number of foreign tourists to Bali recorded an increase of 8.23 percent.
According to the nationality, the highest number of foreign tourists coming to Bali in April 2018 were foreign tourists with Chinese nationality (23.58 percent), Australia (17.61 percent), India (6.03 percent), England (4.17 percent) and the United States (4.12 percent).
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in April 2018 reached 63.53 percent, up 2.34 points compared to the previous month's mine (m to m). When compared to April 2017 (y on y), room occupancy rate in April 2018, recorded an increase of 4.99 points. The average length of stay of guests at star-rated hotels in Bali in April 2018 was recorded at 2.98 days, down -0.24 days compared to the average length of stay of guests in March 2018 (m to m). When compared to April 2017 (y on y) which reached 2.89 days, the average length of stay April 2018 increased 0.09 days.
TPK in non-star hotels in April 2018, was recorded at 33.29 percent, an increase of 3.53 points from the previous month's record (m to m). When compared to April 2017 (y on y), room occupancy rate in April 2018 was recorded decreased by -0.06 points. The average length of stay at Non Star Hotel in April 2018 was recorded at 2.27, decreasing by -0.14 days from the previous month (m to m) reaching 2.41 days. When compared to April 2017 (y on y) which reached 2.64 days, the average length of stay April 2018 decreased -0.37 days.
