June 2018, the number of international airplane departures from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport was 3,030 units or decreased by -0.23 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) which reached 3,037 units. The number of international flight passengers in the same period (m to m) increased by 0.05 percent, from 558,373 people in May 2018 to 558,664 people in June 2018. In contrast to aircraft passengers, the amount of baggage and international air freight items experienced decrease (m to m) of -2.36 percent, from 8.41 million tons to 8.21 million tons.
For domestic air transport, the number of aircraft departing from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in June 2018 was 3,717 flight units, up 1.31 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) which reached 3,669 flights. The number of passengers was recorded at 478,760 people, an increase of 10.34 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) which reached 433,887 people. The amount of baggage and goods also increased by 8.99 percent from 4.68 million tons in May 2018 to 5.09 million tons in June 2018 (m to m).
For sea transportation, the number of ships departing from several ports in Bali Province in June 2018 was 2,270 units, or a decrease of -8.21 percent from the previous month (m to m), which was recorded at 2,473 units. The number of passenger ships in June 2018 was recorded at 246,764 people. This number is down -10.75 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) which reached 276,476 people. While similar conditions are shown for freight transport in the same period and mode of transportation, it reached 12,236 tons, down by -21.19 percent compared to the previous month (m to m), which amounted to 15,525 tons.
