The Province of Bali's NTP in October 2018 was recorded to increase by 0.41 percent

Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate Index (NTP) of Bali Province in October 2018 was recorded to have increased by 0.41 percent, from 103.28 in September 2018, to 103.70. In terms of the index received by farmers (It), there was an increase of 0.85 percent, from 132.73 to 133.86. Meanwhile, from the index paid by farmers (Ib), there was an increase of 0.44 percent, from 128.51 to 129.08.

The increase in NTP in October 2018 was recorded in the food and horticulture sub-sector by 1.84 percent and 2.00 percent respectively. On the other hand, the smallholder plantation, livestock and fisheries subsector recorded a decline of 1.52 percent, 0.35 percent and 1.18 percent respectively.

In October 2018, Bali Province recorded experiencing rural inflation of 0.40 percent. While nationally, rural inflation was recorded at 0.35 percent.

Of the 33 provinces in rural inflation in October 2018, 9 provinces recorded deflation and 24 provinces recorded inflation. The highest inflation was recorded in North Sumatra and West Sumatra provinces at 0.94 percent. While the lowest inflation was recorded at 0.01 percent in DKI Jakarta Province. On the other hand, the deepest deflation was recorded in Maluku Province at 0.73 percent and was undermined in Riau Islands Province by 0.04 percent.
