The arrival of foreign tourists (tourists) to the Province of Bali in September 2018 was recorded at 555,903 visits, with tourists arriving through the airport as many as 555,888 visits, and those through the sea port amounting to 15 visits.
The number of foreign tourists to the Province of Bali in September 2018 decreased by -3.11 percent compared to the record in August 2018 (m to m). When compared with September 2017 (y on y), the number of foreign tourists to Bali increased by 0.98 percent.
According to nationality, the foreign tourists who recorded the most came to Bali in September 2018 namely tourists with Chinese nationality (22.91 percent), Australia (19.93 percent), Japan (4.94 percent), United Kingdom (4.90 percent) and Germany (4.45 percent).
The star-rated Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) in September 2018 was recorded at 69.52 percent, down -4.30 points compared to the previous month's TPK (m to m). When compared to September 2017 (y on y), the room occupancy rate in September 2018 was recorded to decrease by -3.12 points. The average length of stay of guests in star hotels in Bali in September 2018 was recorded at 3.06 days, up 0.31 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in August 2018 (m to m). When compared to September 2017 (y on y) which reached 3.30 days, the average length of stay in September 2018 decreased -0.24 points.
TPK in Non-Star hotels in September 2018 was recorded at 34.71 percent, a decrease of -0.72 points from the previous month's record (m to m). When compared to September 2017 (y on y), the room occupancy rate in September 2018 was recorded to decrease -3.02 points. The average length of stay in Non-Star Hotels in September 2018 was 2.51, increasing by 0.17 days from the previous month (m to m) which reached 2.34 days. When compared to September 2017 (y on y) which reached 2.73 days, the average length of stay in September 2018 decreased - 0.22 days.
