October 2018, the number of international airplane departures from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport was recorded at 3,275 flights or increased by 4.70 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) which reached 3,128 units. The number of passengers on international flights in the same period (m_to_m) increased by 3.44 percent, from 579,932 people in September 2018 to 599,894 people in October 2018. In line with airline passengers, the amount of baggage and international air freight goods increased ( m to m) of 16.82 percent, which is from 9.00 million tons to 10.52 million tons.
For domestic air transport, the number of aircraft departing from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in October 2018 was 4,029 flight units, up 8.02 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) which reached 3,730 flight units. The number of passengers was recorded at 482,072 people, an increase of 3.85 percent compared to the previous month (m_to_m) which reached 464,203 people. The amount of baggage and goods also increased by 18.09 percent, from 4.68 million tons in September 2018 to 5.52 million tons in October 2018 (m to m).
For sea transportation, the number of ships departing from several ports in the Province of Bali in October 2018 was 2,297 units, an increase of 2.41 percent from the previous month (m to m), which was recorded at 2,243 units. The number of ship passengers in October 2018 was 278,340 people. This number fell -12.44 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) which reached 317,882 people. While the different conditions shown for goods transportation in the same period were recorded at 14,414 tons, up 62.78 percent compared to the previous month (m to m), which was recorded at 8,855 tons.
