The Farmers Exchange Rate Index (NTP) of Bali Province in November 2018 was recorded to have decreased by 0.53 percent, from 103.70 in October 2018, to 103.15. In terms of the index received by farmers (It), there was an increase of 0.15 percent, while the index paid by farmers (Ib), recorded a greater increase of 0.69 percent.
The decline in NTP in November 2018 was recorded in almost all sub-sectors except food crops. The food crops subsector recorded an increase of 0.31 percent. The largest decrease in NTP was recorded in the horticulture sub-sector reaching 1.39 percent, followed by fisheries 1.25 percent, smallholder plantations 0.52 percent, and livestock by 0.46 percent.
In November 2018, Bali Province recorded rural inflation of 0.84 percent. While nationally, rural inflation was recorded at 0.12 percent.
Of the 33 rural provinces in November 2018, there were 15 provinces recorded deflation and 18 provinces recorded inflation. The highest inflation was recorded in North Sulawesi Province at 1.17 percent. While the lowest inflation was recorded at 0.002 percent in South Sulawesi Province. On the other hand, the deepest deflation was recorded in West Sulawesi Province by 0.36 percent and was undermined in Lampung Province by 0.01 percent.
