The arrival of foreign tourists (tourists) to the Province of Bali in October 2018 was recorded at 517,889 visits, with tourists arriving through the airport as many as 515,859 visits, and those through the sea port for 2,030 visits.
The number of foreign tourists to the Province of Bali in October 2018 fell by -6.84 percent compared to the notes in September 2018 (m to m). When compared with October 2017 (y on y), the number of foreign tourists to Bali increased by 11.35 percent.
According to nationality, foreign tourists who recorded the most came to Bali in October 2018, namely tourists with Chinese nationality (22.81 percent), Australia (20.45 percent), India (4.76 percent), United Kingdom (4.68 percent) and Japan (4.32 percent).
The Star Hotel Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) in October 2018 was recorded at 68.06 percent, down -1.46 points compared to the previous month's TPK (m to m). When compared to October 2017 (y on y), room occupancy rates in October 2018, were recorded to increase 2.13 points. The average length of stay of guests in star hotels in Bali in October 2018 was recorded at 3.07 days, up 0.01 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in September 2018 (m to m). When compared with October 2017 (y on y) which reached 3.11 days, the average length of stay in October 2018 decreased -0.04 points.
TPK in Non-Star hotels in October 2018 was recorded at 32.41 percent, a decrease of -0.23 points from the previous month's record (m to m). When compared to October 2017 (y on y), the room occupancy rate in October 2018 was recorded to decrease -3.02 points. The average length of stay in Non-Star Hotels in October 2a018 was recorded at 2.41 days, decreasing by -0.10 points from the previous month (m to m) which reached 2.51 days. When compared with October 2017 (y on y) which reached 2.86 days, the average length of stay in October 2018 decreased - 0.45 days.
