The arrival of foreign tourists (tourists) to the Province of Bali in December 2018 was recorded to reach 498,819 visits, with foreign tourists coming through the airport as many as 495,641 visits, and those through the sea port amounting to 3,178 visits.
The number of foreign tourists to Bali Province in December 2018 increased by 22.64 percent compared to the November 2018 record (m to m). When compared to December 2017 (y on y), the number of foreign tourists to Bali increased by 57.90 percent.
According to nationality, foreign tourists who recorded the most came to Bali in December 2018, namely tourists with Australian nationality (20.41 percent), China (16.13 percent), India (6.75 percent), Malaysia (4.85 percent) and Singapore (4.72 percent).
The star hotel occupancy rate (TPK) in December 2018 was recorded at 57.62 percent, up 1.70 points compared to the previous month's TPK (m to m). When compared to December 2017 (y on y), the room occupancy rate in December 2018 was recorded to increase by 6.96 points. The average length of stay of guests in star hotels in Bali in December 2018 was recorded at 2.81 days, down -0.23 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in November 2018 (m to m). When compared to December 2017 (y on y) which reached 2.47 days, the average length of stay in November 2018 increased by 0.34 points.
TPK in Non-Star hotels in December 2018 was recorded at 31.04 percent, an increase of 4.30 points from the previous month's record (m to m). When compared to December 2017 (y on y), room occupancy rates in December 2018 were recorded to increase by 1.43 points. The average length of stay in Non-Star Hotels in December 2018 was recorded at 2.32 days, decreasing as deep as -0.14 points from the previous month (m to m) which reached 2.46 days. When compared to December 2017 (y on y) which reached 2.51 days, the average length of stay in December 2018 decreased - 0.19 days.
