The arrival of foreign tourists (tourists) to Bali Province in May 2019 was recorded at 485,795 visits, with foreign tourists coming through the airport as many as 485,758 visits, and those through the seaport amounting to 37 visits.
The number of foreign tourists to Bali Province in May 2019 increased by 1.82 percent compared to April 2019 (m to m) records. When compared to May 2018 (y on y), the number of foreign tourists to Bali was recorded to have decreased as deep as -8.08 percent.
By nationality, the most recorded tourists came to Bali in May 2019, namely tourists with Australian nationality (20.30 percent), China (19.24 percent), India (7.95 percent), United States (5.11 percent ), and United Kingdom (4.79 percent).
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in May 2019 was recorded at 51.56 percent, down -8.77 points compared to the TPK of the previous month (m to m) which reached 60.33 percent. When compared to May 2018 (y on y) which reached 67.55 percent, the room occupancy rate in May 2019, was recorded to decrease as deep as -15.99 points.
The average length of stay of guests at star-rated hotels in Bali in May 2019 was recorded at 2.90 days, up 0.13 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in April 2019 (m to m) which reached 2.77 days. When compared to May 2018 (y on y) which reached 2.74 days, the average length of stay in May 2019 increased as high as 0.16 points
