January 2020, the export value of goods from Bali Province abroad was recorded at US $ 46,595,578, higher than the export in December 2019 (m-t-m) which amounted to US $ 45,859,480. On a year-on-year basis, Bali's exports in January 2020 were recorded to have decreased by -6.92 percent compared to January 2019. The trade balance between Bali Province and overseas in January 2020 recorded a surplus of US $ 23,447,921.
Exports to Spain were recorded to have the highest increase of up to hundreds of percent compared to December 2019 (m-t-m) which was dominantly contributed by the increase in exports of non-knitted apparel products (HS 62). However, from the commodity side, exports of patchwork products (HS 63) recorded the highest increase, which were mainly exported to Norway.
The value of imported goods from Bali Province from abroad in January 2020 was recorded at US $ 23,147,657, down by -1.92 percent compared to December 2019 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US $ 23,601,143. On a year-on-year basis, Bali's imports in January 2020 were recorded to have increased as high as 6.08 percent compared to January 2019 (y-o-y).
Imports from Thailand (m-t-m) recorded the steepest decline, namely by -40.78 percent which was mainly due to lower imports of jewelry / gem products.
