EXPORT
In March 2020, the export value of goods from Bali Province abroad was recorded at US $ 44,160,861, down by -13.01 percent when compared to exports in February 2020 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US $ 50,764,165. On a year-on-year basis (compared to March 2019), Bali's exports in March 2020 also recorded a drop of -22.94 percent. Cumulatively (January-March 2020), Bali's exports decreased by -9.28 percent compared to January-March 2019.
Exports of goods to France in March 2020 recorded the deepest decline (-39.91 percent) which was dominated by the decline in exports of non-knitted apparel products (HS 62). In terms of commodities, the steepest decline was recorded in exports of jewelry / gem products (HS 71), which reached -23.99 percent month to month).
IMPORT
The value of imported goods from Bali Province from abroad in March 2020 was recorded at US $ 13,461,649, an increase of 13.25 percent compared to February 2020 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US $ 11,886,232. However, compared to March 2019 (y-o-y), Bali's imports in March 2020 actually decreased, by -39.88 percent.
Imports of goods from China on a month-to-month basis were recorded to have increased by hundreds of percent (326.21 percent), which was mainly due to increased imports of machinery and electrical equipment (HS 85) and leather goods (HS 42). In terms of commodities, imports of tobacco products (HS 24) were recorded to have increased by thousands of percent (2,191.43 percent).
