In December 2020, the export value of Bali Province abroad was recorded to have increased by 0.54 percent (mtm), from US $ 41,772,255 in November 2020 to US $ 41,996,560 in December 2020. When compared to December 2019 (yoy), Bali's export value in December 2020 was recorded to have decreased by 8.24 percent.
Cumulatively, Bali's export performance in 2020 shows a deep decline of 22.87 percent. The export value of goods from Bali Province in 2019 was recorded at US $ 591,676,973, decreasing to US $ 456,379,066 in 2020.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in December 2020, the value of exports to Japan was recorded to have the highest increase from month to month, namely as high as 70.90 percent. This increase was mainly due to increased exports of jewelry / gem products (HS 71).
IMPORT
In line with Bali's exports, the import performance of Bali Province in December 2020 also showed an increase. The import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in December 2020 was recorded at US $ 4,964,773, an increase of 25.08 percent compared to November 2020 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US $ 3,969,318. On a year-on-year basis, the import value of Bali Province in December 2020 was recorded to have decreased by 78.96 percent.
Cumulatively, Bali's import performance in 2020 also shows a decline of 68.65 percent. The import value in 2020 was recorded at US $ 83,888,833, down 68.65 percent compared to 2019 which amounted to US $ 267,555,931.
Of the top 5 countries of origin for imports in December 2020, the import value from the Netherlands was recorded to have the highest increase on a month to month basis up to thousands of percent (1,550.23 percent) which was mainly due to the increase in imports of machinery and mechanical equipment (HS 84).
