EXPORT
In February 2021, the export value of Bali Province goods to foreign countries was recorded to have increased by 12.75 percent (mtm), from US$ 35,279,255 in January 2021 to US$ 39,775,786 in February 2021. When compared to February 2020 (yoy), Bali's export value in February 2021 was recorded to have fallen by 21.65 percent.
Of the top 5 export destinations for Bali in February 2021, the value of exports to China recorded the highest increase month-to-month to hundreds of percent (143.53 percent). This increase was mainly due to increased exports of fish and shrimp products (HS 03).
The cumulative export value in the January-February 2021 period was recorded at US$ 75,055,042, down 22.91 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
IMPORT
In the opposite direction to Bali's exports, the import performance of Bali Province in February 2021 actually showed a decline. The import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in February 2021 was recorded at US$ 3,566,583, down 26.81 percent compared to January 2021 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 4,872,950. On a year on year basis, the import value of Bali Province in February 2021 was recorded to have decreased by 69.99 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of origin for imports in February 2021, the value of imports from the five countries of origin recorded a decline with the deepest decline recorded in imports from Taiwan (-59.91 percent) month to month.
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-February 2021 period was recorded at US$ 8,439,533, down 75.91 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
