EXPORT
In March 2021, the value of Bali Province goods exports to overseas recorded an increase of 19.76 percent (mtm), from US$ 39,746,244 in February 2021 to US$ 47,599,877 in March 2021. When compared to March 2020 (yoy), Bali's export value in March 2021 also recorded an increase of 7.79 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in March 2021, the value of exports to Japan recorded the highest increase month to month up to 55.99 percent. This increase was mainly due to increased exports of fish and shrimp products (HS 03).
The cumulative export value in the January-March 2021 period was recorded at US$ 122,625,377, down 13.35 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
IMPORT
In line with Bali's exports, the import performance of Bali Province in March 2021 also showed an increase. The import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in March 2021 was recorded at US$ 5,293,127, up 48.41 percent compared to February 2021 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 3,566,578. On a year on year basis, the import value of Bali Province in March 2021 was recorded to have decreased by 60.68 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of origin for imports in March 2021, the value of imports from two countries of origin recorded an increase with the highest recorded in imports from China (399.00 percent) month to month.
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-March 2021 period was recorded at US$ 13,732,655, down 71.68 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
