Development of the Bali Province Farmer's Exchange Rate Index October 2021

Farmer's Exchange Rate Index (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

The Bali Province NTP Index in October 2021 was 93.40, up 0.43 percent compared to the previous month. The increase in the NTP index was due to the Price Received by Farmers Index (It) which increased by 0.61 percent, higher than the increase in the Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) of 0.18 percent.
The NTP index for the January–October 2021 period in Bali Province was recorded at 92.53 with an It value of 99.41 and an Ib value of 107.44. This value has decreased by 2.10 percent compared to the same period in 2020.

Nationally, the NTP index was recorded at 106.67 or up 0.93 percent compared to the previous month. In October 2021, the Bengkulu Province NTP Index experienced the highest increase (2.94 percent) compared to the increase in the NTP index of other provinces. On the other hand, the FTT Index of Gorontalo Province experienced the deepest decline (-1.21 percent) compared to the decline in the FTT of other provinces.

Judging from the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of Bali Province, in October 2021 there was an increase of 0.21 percent.

The Bali Province Agricultural Household Exchange Rate (NTUP) in October 2021 was 92.73, an increase of 0.44 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
