Export
In January 2022, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods to foreign countries decreased by 15.52 percent (m-t-m), from US$ 51,790,489 in December 2021 to US$ 43,751,081 in January 2022. When compared to January 2021 (y-o-y), Bali's export value in January 2022 recorded an increase of 24.01 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in January 2022, the value of exports to China was recorded to have fallen the most month to month (-34.73 percent). This decrease was mainly due to lower exports of fish, crustacean and mollusc products (HS 03).
Bali's largest export commodities in January 2022 were exports of crustacean fish and mollusc products (HS 03) with a share of 28.02 percent of total exports.
Import
In line with Bali's exports, the import performance of Bali Province in January 2022 showed a decline. The import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in January 2022 was recorded at US$ 2,110,990, down 28.54 percent compared to December 2021 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 2,953,996. On a year on year basis, the import value of Bali Province in January 2022 was recorded to have decreased by 56.68 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of origin for imports in January 2022, the value of imports from Germany recorded the most decline in month to month (-51.92 percent), which was mainly due to the decline in imports of precious metal and jewelry/gem products (HS 71).
Bali's largest imported commodity in January 2022 is imports of machinery and electrical equipment and parts thereof (HS 85) with a share of 22.12 percent.
