Abstract

Foreign tourists (tourists) who came directly to Bali Province in August 2022 recorded 276,659 visits, an increase of 12.23 percent compared to the previous month period which recorded 246,504 visits. Tourists from Australia dominate foreign tourist arrivals to Bali in August 2022 with a share of 28.59 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in August 2022 was recorded at 38.37 percent, up as high as 0.85 points when compared to July 2022. When compared to August 2021 (y-o-y) which reached 4.77 percent, the occupancy rate rooms in August 2022 recorded an increase of 33.60 points. Meanwhile, the TPK for non-star hotels was recorded at 22.87 percent, up 1.94 points compared to July 2022.

The average length of stay of foreign and domestic guests at star hotels in Bali in August 2022 was recorded at 2.04 days, down 0.01 points compared to the results in July 2022 (m-t-m) which were recorded at 2.05 days. When compared to the results for August 2021 (y-o-y) which were recorded at 1.91 days, the average length of stay for August 2022 rose 0.13 points. Meanwhile, for non-star hotels, the average length of stay in August 2022 was recorded at 2.06 days, up 0.02 points compared to July 2022 which was recorded at 2.04 days.
