The Farmer's Terms of Trade Index (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
The Bali Province NTP index for December 2022 was recorded at 97.05, up 0.48 percent compared to the previous month's conditions. The increase in the NTP index was due to an increase in the price index received by farmers (It) of 1.34 percent, which was greater than the increase in the index paid by farmers (Ib) of 0.86 percent.
Nationally, the NTP index was recorded at 109.00, up 1.11 percent compared to the previous month. In December 2022, the West Nusa Tenggara Province's NTP index was recorded to have experienced the highest increase in NTP, amounting to 2.26 percent. In contrast, West Sulawesi Province's NTP experienced the deepest decline, amounting to -2.47 percent.
The Bali Province Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in December 2022 was 114.78 or an increase of 1.11 percent compared to the previous month's conditions.
The Bali Province Agriculture Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in December 2022 was 97.81 or an increase of 1.07 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
