Bali Province Tourism Development January 2023

Foreign tourists (tourists) who came directly to Bali Province in January 2023 recorded 331,912 visits, down 12.02 percent compared to the previous month period which recorded 377,276 visits. Tourists from Australia dominated foreign tourist arrivals to Bali in January 2023 with a share of 27.49 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in January 2023 was recorded at 46.16 percent, down as deep as 7.59 points when compared to December 2022. When compared to January 2022 (y-o-y) which reached 20.71 percent, the occupancy rate rooms in January 2022 recorded an increase of 25.45 points. Meanwhile, the TPK for non-star hotels was recorded at 26.99 percent, down 0.63 points compared to December 2022.

The average length of stay of foreign and domestic guests at star hotels in Bali in January 2023 was recorded at 2.36 days, down 0.11 points compared to December 2022 (m-t-m) which was recorded at 2.47 days. When compared to the achievements in January 2022 (y-o-y) which were recorded at 1.91 days, the average length of stay for January 2023 increased by 0.45 points. Meanwhile, for non-star hotels, the average length of stay in January 2023 was recorded at 2.25 days, down 0.09 points compared to December 2022 which was recorded at 2.34 days.
