DENPASAR CITY 0.14 PERCENT DEFLATION ON FEBRUARY 2015

þ In February 2015 in the city of Denpasar deflation of 0.14 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 116.19. The inflation rate of the calendar year (February 2015 to December 2014) amounted to -0.21 percent. The inflation rate year-on-year (February 2015 to February 2014) amounted to 6.07 percent.
þ Deflation occurs due to a decrease in the price indicated by the decline in the index on the two types of expenses, group transport, communications, and financial services by 1.42 percent and foodstuff by 0.12 percent. While five other expenditure groups namely clothing group experienced inflation of 0.55 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel 0.36 percent; health group 0.36 percent; education, recreation, and sport 0.09 percent; as well as processed foods, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco 0.03 percent.
þ The core component / core in February 2015 experienced inflation of 0.25 percent, volatile components / volatile deflation of 0.05 percent while the government regulated price components / administrative deflation of 0.33 percent.
