The number of international airplane departures from Ngurah Rai Airport in December 2017 reached 2,412 flight units. This number decreased 4.89 percent compared to the previous month which reached 2,536 units. The number of international flight passengers in the same period decreased by 28.46 percent, from 385,922 people in November 2017 to 276,092 people in December 2017. In line with airplane passengers, the number of luggage and international air freight also decreased 35.17 percent, from 7.42 million tons to 4.81 million tons.

For domestic air transport, the number of aircraft departing from Ngurah Rai Airport in December 2017 was 3,633 flight units, or up 16.11 percent compared to the previous month state which reached 3,129 flight units. The number of passengers recorded reached 395,037 people or an increase of 7.43 percent compared to the previous month which reached 367,732 people. The number of baggage and goods also increased by 4.36 percent from 4.07 million tons in November 2017 to 4.24 million tons in December 2017.
