Abstract

Bali Province Farmer Exchange Rate Index (NTP) in July 2018 was recorded to decrease by 0.14 percent, from 103.54 in June 2018, to 103.40. In terms of the index received by farmers (It), there was an increase of 0.37 percent, from 132.92 to 133.41. Meanwhile in terms of the index paid by farmers (Ib), there was an increase of 0.51 percent, from 128.38 to 129.03.

The decline in NTP in July 2018 was recorded in the Food Crop Subsector by 0.91 percent, followed by the Fisheries Subsector 0.58 percent, and the Horticulture Subsector 0.11 percent. Meanwhile, the Livestock Subsector and the People's Plantation Crop Subsector recorded an increase of 0.03 percent and 0.35 percent respectively.

In July 2018, Bali Province recorded a rural inflation of 0.61 percent. Meanwhile, nationally recorded rural inflation was 0.82 percent.

Of the 33 provinces of rural inflation observations in July 2018, 32 provinces recorded inflation, with the highest inflation recorded in Banten Province reaching 1.42 percent and the lowest in East Nusa Tenggara Province at 0.23 percent. Meanwhile deflation was only recorded in Maluku Province by 0.18 percent.
