The number of working age population in Bali Province in February 2019 was recorded at 3,311,971 people. Of the working age population, 2,539,578 people are registered in the labor force and 772,393 people are recorded as non-workforce.
The number of people registered in the labor force in February 2019 decreased by 67,710 people (-2.60 percent) compared to February 2018. When compared to August 2018, the number of the workforce increased by 14,223 people (0.56 percent).
The Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) in February 2019 was recorded at 76.68 percent, down -3.15 points compared to February 2018 which was recorded at 79.83 percent. When compared to the August 2018 TPAK which was recorded at 76.78 percent, the TPAK dropped -0.10 points.
The number of people working in Bali in February 2019 was 2,509,316 people, a decrease of 75,627 people (-2.93 percent) compared to February 2018. When compared to August 2018, the number of employed people increased by 18,446 people (0.74 percent ).
The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in Bali Province in February 2019 was recorded at 1.19 percent, an increase of 0.33 points compared to TPT in February 2018 which was recorded at 0.86 percent. When compared with the August 2009 TPT of 1.37 percent, the TPT decreased by -0.18 points.
