Abstract

In October 2019, the number of international air transport aircraft departures increased by 2.33 percent compared to September 2019 (mtm), but decreased by -3.27 percent compared to October 2018.Singapore destinations recorded an increase in air transport aircraft departures. the highest in October 2019 (mtm), namely as high as 4.55 percent. Meanwhile, the number of international air transport passenger departures in October 2019 was recorded to have increased 1.44 percent compared to September 2019. When compared to October 2018 (yoy), the number of international passengers also recorded an increase as high as 5.79 percent, in a different direction when compared to the condition of domestic air transport passengers has decreased.

The departure of domestic air transport aircraft from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in October 2019 was recorded to have increased as high as 4.33 percent when compared to September 2019 (m t m). However, it is in the opposite direction when compared to October 2018 (y o y), which recorded a decline of -10.87 percent. The highest increase in domestic flight departures was recorded for Surabaya (6.90 percent). Meanwhile, the number of domestic air transport passenger departures in October 2019 increased by 2.54 percent compared to September 2019 (m-t-m), but decreased by -9.57 percent compared to October 2018 (y o y). Passenger departures for Lombok Praya were recorded to have the highest increase, namely 8.29 percent (m t m).
