During the period March - September 2019, the percentage of poor people in urban and rural areas simultaneously recorded a decline. The percentage of poor people in urban areas fell from 3.29 percent in March 2019 to 3.04 percent in September 2019. The percentage of poor people in rural areas also decreased from 4.88 percent in March 2019 to 4.86 percent in September 2019.
