There were 552,403 foreign tourists who came directly to Bali Province in December 2019, with 544,726 foreign tourists arriving through I Gusti Ngurah Rai airport and 7,677 visits through sea ports.
The number of foreign tourists to Bali Province in December 2019 rose as high as 10.94 percent compared to the record in November 2019 (m to m). When compared to December 2018 (y on y), the number of foreign tourists to Bali was recorded to have increased as high as 10.74 percent.
Foreign tourists with the nationality of Australia (20.40 percent), China (14.66 percent), India (7.20 percent), the United States (4.70 percent), and Singapore (4.58 percent) are the top five registered tourists. Most come to Bali in December 2019.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in December 2019 was recorded at 62.55 percent, up 3.10 points compared to the ROR for the previous month (m to m) which was recorded at 59.46 percent. When compared to December 2018 (y on y) which reached 57.62 percent, the room occupancy rate in December 2019, recorded an increase of 4.93 points.
The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star hotels in Bali in December 2019 was recorded for 2.75 days, an increase of 0.04 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in November 2019 (m to m) which was recorded during 2.71 days. When compared to December 2018 (y on y) which was recorded for 2.81 days, the average length of stay in December 2019 fell by -0.06 points.
