Abstract

The Bali Province NTP Index in June 2020 was recorded to have decreased by -0.01 percent, from 93.54 in May 2020 to 93.53. The index received by farmers (It) was recorded to have increased by 0.05 percent, which is lower than the increase in the index paid by farmers (Ib) which rose as high as 0.06 percent.



The NTP index in June 2020 was recorded to have decreased in three sub-sectors. The deepest decline was recorded in the horticulture sub-sector (-1.32 percent), followed by the food crops sub-sector (-0.92 percent), and the smallholder plantation sub-sector (-0.73 percent). On the other hand, the NTP index for the livestock and fisheries subsector was recorded to have increased by 2.05 percent and 0.75 percent respectively.



The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate Index (NTUP) of Bali Province in June 2020 was recorded at 93.56, down by -0.24 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 93.78.



In terms of the sub-sector, the biggest decline in the NTUP index was recorded in the horticulture sub-sector (-1.38 percent), followed by the food crop sub-sector (-1.20 percent) and the smallholder plantation sub-sector (-0.66 percent). Meanwhile, the livestock sub-sector and fisheries sub-sector were recorded to have increased by 1.58 percent and 0.43 percent respectively.



In June 2020, Bali Province experienced rural deflation of -0.09 percent. This condition is in a different direction from the national rural inflation record, which was recorded as experiencing inflation, as high as 0.08 percent. The deepest deflation was recorded in West Sumatra Province (-0.63 percent) and the shallowest in Bali Province (-0.09 percent). Meanwhile, the highest inflation was recorded in North Sulawesi Province (0.91 percent), while the lowest inflation was recorded in North Kalimantan Province at 0.02 percent.
