The Bali Province NTP index in July 2020 was recorded to have increased as high as 0.42 percent, from 93.53 in June 2020 to 93.92. The index received by farmers (It) was recorded to have increased as high as 0.27 percent, while the index paid by farmers (Ib) was recorded to have decreased by -0.15 percent.
The NTP index in July 2020 was recorded to have increased in three sub-sectors. The highest increase was recorded in the livestock sub-sector (2.24 percent), followed by the food crops sub-sector (0.83 percent) and the fisheries sub-sector (0.24 percent). On the other hand, the NTP index for the smallholder estate crop subsector and the horticulture sub-sector were recorded to have decreased by -1.94 percent and -0.99 percent respectively.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate Index (NTUP) of Bali Province in July 2020 was recorded at 93.77, an increase of 0.22 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 93.56.
In terms of the sub-sector, the highest increase in the NTUP index was recorded in the livestock sub-sector (2.12 percent), followed by the food crops sub-sector (0.60 percent) and the fisheries sub-sector (0.01 percent). Meanwhile, the smallholder plantation sub-sector and horticultural sub-sector were recorded to have decreased by -2.19 percent and -1.17 percent respectively.
In July 2020, Bali Province again experienced rural deflation, at -0.23 percent. This condition is in line with the national rural inflation record which recorded deflation of -0.13 percent. Of all provinces in which rural inflation was observed, the deepest deflation was recorded in the Special Region of Yogyakarta with a deflation of -0.95 percent. Meanwhile, the highest inflation was recorded in Southeast Sulawesi Province at 0.77 percent.
