EXPORT
Entering the fifth month of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the export performance of goods in Bali Province in July 2020 showed an increase on a month-to-month basis, although year on year it still showed a decline. The export value of goods from Bali Province abroad in July 2020 was recorded at US $ 33,994,467, an increase of 5.38 percent compared to the export value in June 2020 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US $ 32,257,489. On a year-on-year basis, Bali's export value in July 2020 was recorded to have decreased by -24.05 percent.
Cumulatively, the export value of goods from Bali Province for the January-July 2020 period was recorded at US $ 259,879,716, down -24.47 percent compared to the same period in 2019 which was recorded at US $ 344,066,263.
The value of goods exports to Vietnam in July 2020, was recorded to have the highest increase of up to hundreds of percent (751.77 percent) month to month which was dominated by the increase in exports of fish and shrimp (HS 03) in the form of squid.
IMPORT
In line with export conditions, the import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in July 2020 was recorded at US $ 4,535,697, up 49.29 percent compared to June 2020 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US $ 3,038,178. On a year-on-year basis, the import value of Bali Province in July 2020 was recorded to have decreased by -84.13 percent.
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-July 2020 period was recorded at US $ 63,989,891, down -56.88 percent compared to the same period in 2019 of US $ 148,394,246.
The import value of machinery and mechanical equipment (HS 84) was recorded as the main import commodity of Bali Province in July 2020, with the highest increase of up to hundreds of percent (189.86 percent), which was predominantly from the United States.
