Export
In July 2023, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods abroad was recorded to increase by 0.48 percent month to month (m-t-m), from US$ 47,577,369 in June 2023 to US$ 47,804,261 in July 2023. When compared compared to July 2022 year on year (y-o-y), Bali's export value in July 2023 actually recorded a decrease of 4.64 percent.
Of the top 5 export destinations for Bali in July 2023, the value of exports to Japan was recorded to have increased by 40.48 percent (m-t-m). This increase was mainly due to increased exports of beverage, alcohol and vinegar products (HS 22).
The cumulative export value in the January-July 2023 period was recorded at US$ 332,333,114, down 4.85 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
IMPORT
In line with exports, the import performance of the Province of Bali in July 2023 also showed an increase. The value of Bali Province imports of goods from abroad in July 2023 was recorded at US$ 10,665,141, an increase of 9.82 percent compared to June 2023 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 9,711,641. On a year-on-year basis, the import value of the Province of Bali in July 2023 was also recorded to have increased by 27.48 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of import origin in July 2023, the value of imports from Australia recorded the highest increase month to month, namely 196.26 percent, which was mainly due to the increase in imports of air vehicle products and their parts (HS 88).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-July 2023 period was recorded at US$ 69,091,454, an increase of 85.70 percent compared to the previous year's period.
