The Bali Province NTP Index in March 2021 was recorded at 91.46, down 1.08 percent compared to February 2021 which was recorded at 92.46. The index received by farmers (It) decreased by -0.16 percent, while the index paid by farmers (Ib) rose by 0.93 percent.
The decline in the FTT index in March 2021 was recorded in three sub-sectors, namely the food crops sub-sector (-2.69 percent), the people's plantation sub-sector (-2.49 percent) and the fisheries sub-sector (-1.03 percent). On the other hand, the horticulture and livestock sub-sectors recorded an increase of 0.68 percent and 0.55 percent, respectively.
The Bali Province Agricultural Exchange Rate Index (NTUP) in March 2021 fell as deep as 0.24 percent from 92.71 in the previous month to 92.48.
In terms of sub-sectors, the NTUP Index in March 2021 recorded a decline in three sub-sectors, namely the food crops sub-sector (-1.68 percent), the smallholder plantation sub-sector (-1.62 percent) and the fisheries sub-sector (-0.31 percent). On the other hand, the increase in NTUP was recorded in the horticulture sub-sector (1.41 percent) and the livestock sub-sector (1.25 percent).
In March 2021, Bali Province was recorded to experience rural inflation of 1.31 percent which is also the highest rural inflation nationally. This condition is in line with the national record of rural inflation, which recorded inflation of 0.11 percent. On the other hand, the lowest inflation was recorded in Bengkulu Province at 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the deepest deflation was recorded in the Province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam at 0.47 percent and the shallowest was in the Province of East Nusa Tenggara with a deflation of 0.03 percent.
