Export
In December 2021, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods abroad recorded an increase of 6.08 percent (m-t-m), from US$ 48,822,983 in November 2021 to US$ 51,790,489 in December 2021. When compared to December 2020 (y-o-y), Bali's export value in December 2021 recorded an increase of 23.32 percent.
Of the top 5 export destinations for Bali in December 2021, the value of exports to China recorded the highest increase month-to-month (53.93 percent). This increase was mainly due to increased exports of fish, crustacean and mollusc products (HS 03).
The cumulative export value in the January-December 2021 period was recorded at US$ 508,361,687, up 11.44 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
Import
In line with Bali's exports, the import performance of Bali Province in December 2021 showed an increase. The import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in December 2021 was recorded at US$ 2,953,996, up 17.80 percent compared to November 2021 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 2,507,703. On a year on year basis, the import value of Bali Province in December 2021 was recorded to have decreased by 40.50 percent.
Of the top 5 import origin countries in December 2021, the value of imports from Singapore was recorded to have increased by thousands of percent month to month (1,510.71 percent), which was mainly due to the increase in imports of machinery and mechanical equipment and parts thereof (HS 84).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-December 2021 period was recorded at US$ 35,913,626, down 57.19 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
