Export
In March 2022, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods abroad recorded an increase of 14.19 percent (m-t-m), from US$ 45,437,971 in February 2022 to US$ 51,884,694 in March 2022. When compared to March 2021 (y-o-y), Bali's export value in March 2022 was recorded to have increased by 9.00 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in March 2022, the value of exports to Singapore recorded the highest increase month to month up to hundreds of percent (380.18 percent). This increase was mainly due to an increase in exports of clothing and accessories (non-knitted) products (HS 62).
The cumulative export value in the January-March 2022 period was recorded at US$ 141,073,746, up 15.04 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
Import
In line with Bali's exports, the import performance of Bali Province in March 2022 also showed an increase. The import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in March 2022 was recorded at US$ 4,659,238, up 150.69 percent compared to February 2022 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 1,858,602.
On a year on year basis, the import value of Bali Province in March 2022 was recorded to have decreased by 11.98 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of origin for imports in March 2022, the value of imports from the United States recorded the highest increase of up to thousands of percent month to month (4,522.65 percent), which was mainly due to increased imports of machinery and mechanical equipment and parts thereof (HS 84 ).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-March period was recorded at US$ 8,628,830, down 37.17 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
