In February 2023, the value of exports of goods for the Province of Bali abroad increased by 18.25 percent (m-t-m), from US$ 41,949,311 in January 2023 to US$ 49,603,473 in February 2023. When compared to February 2022 (y-o-y), Bali's export value in February 2023 was recorded to have increased by 9.17 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in February 2023, the value of exports to China recorded the highest increase month to month (173.72 percent). This increase was primarily due to increased exports of fish, crustacean and mollusk products (HS 03).
The cumulative export value in the January-February 2023 period was recorded at US$ 91,552,784, up 2.65 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
Import
In line with exports, the import performance of the Province of Bali in February 2023 also showed an increase. The import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in February 2023 was recorded at US$ 8,285,527, up 3.13 percent compared to January 2023 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 8,034,418. On a year-on-year basis, the import value of the Province of Bali in February 2023 was recorded to have increased as high as 345.79 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of origin for imports in February 2023, the value of imports from Switzerland recorded the highest increase month to month (+147.69 percent), which was mainly due to an increase in imports of watch and watch products and their parts (HS 91).
Cumulatively, the value of imports in the January-February 2023 period was recorded at US$ 16,319,945, up 311.12 percent compared to the previous year's period.
