Abstract

In February 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Tabanan Regency was 3.87 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.23.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to the increase in prices of observed commodities as indicated by the increase in the expenditure group index, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 7.62 percent; clothing and footwear group at 7.08 percent; health group by 2.60 percent; transportation group by 1.47 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 4.98 percent; education group at 0.59 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 3.74 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 2.64 percent. Meanwhile, three other expenditure groups recorded a decline in the index, namely: the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.19 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 1.87 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.37 percent;

In February 2024, Tabanan Regency was recorded as experiencing inflation, both month to month (m-to-m) at 0.68 percent and year to date (y-to-d) at 0.61 percent
