Abstract

In June 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Tabanan Regency will be 1.96 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.17.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to the increase in prices of observed commodities as indicated by the increase in the expenditure group index, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 3.90 percent; clothing and footwear group by 2.80 percent; health group at 2.84 percent; transportation group by 1.48 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 4.98 percent; education group at 0.59 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group amounted to 2.89 percent. Meanwhile, four other expenditure groups recorded a decline in the index, namely: housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups by 0.66 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group at 1.23 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.37 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 0.31 percent.

In June 2024, Tabanan Regency was recorded as experiencing month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation of 1.09 percent and experienced year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation of 0.56 percent.
