Abstract

In July 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Tabanan Regency will be 1.75

percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.27.

Y-on-y inflation occurs due to rising prices of observed commodities

indicated by the increase in the expenditure group index, namely: group

food, beverages and tobacco at 3.61 percent; clothing group

and footwear by 1.08 percent; health group by 2.43 percent;

transportation group at 1.49 percent; recreation, sports, and groups

culture by 2.39 percent; education group at 1.13 percent; group

provision of food and drinks/restaurants by 2.69 percent. Whereas

four other expenditure groups recorded a decline in the index,

namely: housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups amounting to

0.68 percent; groups of supplies, equipment and routine home maintenance

stairs by 1.93 percent; information, communication and financial services group

by 0.30 percent; and the personal care and other services group amounted to

0.08 percent.

In July 2024, Tabanan Regency was recorded as experiencing inflation month to month month (m-to-m) of 0.09 percent and experienced inflation year to date (y-to-d)

of 0.65 percent.
