Abstract

In October 2016 in Denpasar deflation of 0.19 percent with a price index
Consumers (CPI) amounted to 121.92. The cumulative inflation rate (from January to October, 2016) amounted to 1.96 percent and inflation year-on-year (October 2016 to October 2015) amounted to 3.33 percent.
Deflation occurs because of the decrease in the price indicated by the decline in the index in three groups expenses, mainly foodstuffs by 1.52 percent; group transport, communications, and financial peersen of 1.07; as well as the clothing group by 0.87 percent. while the group that inflation is processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 1.34 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.39 percent; health groups 0.28 percent; as well as the education, recreation and sports by 0.21 percent.
