In January 2018 in Kota Singaraja recorded inflation of 0.86 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI, 2012 = 100) of 140.86. The calendar year inflation rate is also 0.86 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (YoY) is 2.43 percent.

 

Inflation was indicated by the increase in index in the foodstuff category by 2.87 percent; transport, communication and financial services group by 0.38 percent; clothing group by 0.37 percent; health group by 0.21 percent; the education, recreation and sports group by 0.05 percent and the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group by 0.05 percent.

 

The commodities listed contributed to inflation in January 2018, among others: rice, cayenne pepper, beans, chicken eggs, vegetable tomatoes, red peppers, gasoline, squid, cucumbers, long beans, carrots, oranges and yellowtail fish .
