Abstract

January 2018, the number of international airplane departures from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport reached 2,690 flight units, and increased 11.53 percent compared to the previous month which reached 2,412 units. The number of international flight passengers in the same period increased by 44.48 percent, from 276,092 in December 2017 to 399,894 people in January 2018. In line with airline passengers, the number of baggage and international air freight also increased by 36, 92 percent, from 4.81 million tons to 6.59 million tons.

For domestic air transport, the number of aircraft departing from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in January 2018 was 3,686 flight units, up 1.46 percent compared to the previous month state which reached 3,633 flight units. The number of passengers recorded reached 449,722 people or an increase of 13.84 percent compared to the previous month which reached 395,037 people. The number of baggage and goods also increased by 18.32 percent from 4.24 million tons in December 2017 to 5.02 million tons in January 2018.
