Abstract

Bali's total economy in quarter II-2018 as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices (ADHB) reached Rp. 58.43 trillion and based on constant prices (ADHK) in 2010 reached Rp. 38.16 trillion.

Bali Economy Semester I-2018 (c-to-c) grew 5.86 percent or experienced a slowdown compared to the same period the previous year which grew 6.10 percent. From the business field side, the highest growth was achieved by the Health Services and Social Activities businesses by 9.37 percent. Meanwhile, when viewed from the side of the main supporting economic growth in the second quarter of 2018 (c-to-c) is held by the component of Government Consumption Expenditures (PK-P) of 11.94 percent.

By (q-to-q) or when compared to the previous quarter, Bali's economy in the second quarter of 2018 was able to grow by 3.39 percent. In terms of business field, the highest growth was achieved by Government Administration, Defense and Mandatory Social Security of 17.63 percent. In terms of expenditure, the component of Government Consumption Expenditures (PK-P) grew the most with growth of 57.45 percent.

Bali economy in the second quarter of 2018 is still dominated by the business of providing accommodation and drinking food with a contribution of 23.19 percent followed by the field of agriculture, forestry and fisheries business by 13.95 percent. In terms of expenditure, the role of Exports and Household Consumption Expenditures was still dominant in this quarter, with 61.14 percent contribution respectively; and 45.76 percent. While the contribution of the Import component as a deduction component was recorded at 51.81 percent.
