The Province of Bali Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) in April 2019 was recorded down by -0.66 percent, from 104.13 in April 2019, to 103.45. In terms of the index received by farmers (It), it recorded a decrease of -0.08 percent while the index paid by farmers (Ib) recorded an increase of 0.58 percent.
The decline in the NTP index in April 2019 was recorded in almost all subsectors. The sub-sectors recorded the lowest decline in the FTT index, namely the food crops subsector by -1.43 percent, followed by smallholder plantations -1.15 percent, livestock -0.90 percent, and fisheries -0.48 percent. On the contrary, the horticulture subsector recorded an increase of 0.89 percent.
In April 2019, the Province of Bali experienced rural inflation of 0.84 percent. While nationally, rural inflation was recorded at 0.81 percent.
From 33 provinces observing rural inflation in April 2019, there were 30 provinces experiencing inflation and only 3 provinces recorded deflation. The highest inflation was recorded in D.I Province in Yogyakarta reaching 1.52 percent, and the lowest was recorded in North Maluku Province by 0.13 percent. Meanwhile, the Riau Islands, DKI Jakarta and Banten recorded deflation of -0.22 percent, -0.04 percent and -0.03 percent respectively.
