The Province of Bali Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) in June 2019 recorded an increase of 0.20 percent, from 103.37 in May 2019, to 103.58. In terms of the index received by farmers (It), it recorded a very slight decrease of -0.001 percent while the index paid by farmers (Ib) recorded a deeper decline, namely -0.20 percent.
Judging by the subsector, the increase in the NTP index in June 2019 was recorded in three sub-sectors, namely the smallholder estate crops sub-sector 2.75 percent, followed by the food crops sub-sector 0.91 percent and the fisheries subsector by 0.55 percent. Meanwhile, the horticulture and livestock sub-sectors were recorded to have decreased by -1.58 percent and -0.51 percent respectively.
In the calculation of the rural consumer price index (inflation) in June 2019, Bali Province recorded deflation as deep as -0.28 percent, in a different direction from the national condition which recorded experiencing rural inflation as high as 0.57 percent.
From 33 provinces observing the calculation of the household consumption index of farmers (rural) in June 2019, there were 30 provinces experiencing inflation and only 3 provinces recorded experiencing deflation. The highest inflation was recorded in West Sumater Province, by 1.81 percent, and the lowest was recorded in West Kalimantan Province by 0.07 percent. Meanwhile, Bali, NTT and North Sulawesi Provinces recorded deflation of -0.28 percent, -0.08 percent and -0.002 percent respectively.
