Abstract

EXPORT

During February 2020, the export value of goods from Bali Province abroad was recorded at US $ 50,764,165, 8.95 percent higher than exports in January 2020 (m-t-m) which amounted to US $ 46,595,578. On a year-on-year basis (compared to February 2019), Bali's exports in February 2020 also recorded an increase of 4.37 percent. However, cumulatively (January-February 2020), Bali's exports decreased by -1.35 percent compared to January-February 2019.

In terms of commodities, exports of various basic metal products (HS 83) and exports of patchwork products (dominant HS 63 in the form of surgical masks) were recorded to have increased the most by hundreds of percent.

IMPORT

The value of imported goods from Bali Province from abroad in February 2020 was recorded at US $ 11,886,232, down by -48.65 percent compared to January 2020 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US $ 23,147,657. On a year-on-year basis, Bali's imports in February 2020 also recorded a drop of -26.17 percent compared to February 2019 (y-o-y).

Imports from China (m-t-m) recorded the deepest decline, namely by -87.69 percent which was mainly due to lower imports of electrical machinery and equipment products (HS 85).
