Abstract

The NTP index of Bali Province in April 2020 was recorded to have decreased by -2.36 percent, from 97.10 in March 2020 to 94.81. In terms of the index received by farmers (It), it was recorded to have decreased by -2.15 percent, on the other hand, the index paid by farmers (Ib) was recorded to have increased as high as 0.21 percent.



The decline in the NTP index in April 2020 was recorded in all subsectors. The deepest decline was recorded in the livestock sub-sector (-3.09 percent), followed by the smallholder plantation sub-sector (-2.97 percent), the food crop sub-sector (-2.15 percent), the fisheries sub-sector (-1.45 percent) and the sub-sector. horticulture (-0.67 percent).



The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate Index (NTUP) of Bali Province in April 2020 was recorded at 95.63, down by -2.32 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 97.90.



In terms of the sub-sector, the deepest decline in the NTUP index was recorded in the livestock sub-sector (-3.20 percent), followed by the smallholder plantation sub-sector (-2.87 percent), food crops sub-sector (-2.06 percent), fishery sub-sector (-1, 20 percent) and the horticultural subsector (-0.55 percent).



In April 2020, Bali Province recorded rural inflation as high as 0.21 percent. This is in line with rural inflation nationally, which recorded inflation, as high as 0.11 percent. The highest inflation was recorded in North Sulawesi (1.19 percent) and the lowest in South Kalimantan (0.003 percent). Meanwhile, the deepest deflation was recorded in the Province of Nanggroe Aceh Darusalam (-0.60 percent), while the lowest deflation was recorded in North Sumatra and Central Kalimantan provinces at -0.01 percent each.
