Abstract

In September 2024, Tabanan Regency experienced year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 2.98 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.85.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to the increase in the prices of observed commodities as indicated by the increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 6.15 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.29 percent; health group by 2.51 percent; transportation group by 1.40 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 2.56 percent; education group by 2.25 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 3.04 percent; and personal care and other services group by 2.10 percent. Meanwhile, three other expenditure groups recorded a decrease in index, namely: housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.56 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 1.76 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by 0.27 percent.

In September 2024, Tabanan Regency was recorded to have experienced month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation of 0.26 percent and year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation of 1.19 percent.
