Bali Province Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) in July 2019 was recorded to increase by 1.27 percent, from 103.58 in June 2019, to 104.89. In terms of the index received by farmers (It) recorded rose as high as 1.86 percent while the index paid by farmers (Ib) recorded a lower increase, namely 0.58 percent.
Judging by the subsector, the increase in the FTT index in July 2019 was recorded in four subsectors, with the highest increase recorded in the horticulture subsector, by 2.48 percent, followed by the livestock subsector 1.86 percent, the food crops subsector 0.58 percent and the fisheries subsector by 0 , 49 percent. Meanwhile, the smallholder estate crops subsector was the only subsector that experienced a decline in the FTT index, which was as deep as -0.28 percent.
In calculating the rural consumer price (inflation) index, in July 2019, the Province of Bali recorded inflation as high as 0.73 percent, in line with national conditions that recorded rural inflation as high as 0.55 percent.
From 33 provinces observing the calculation of the household consumption index of farmers (rural) in July 2019, there were 18 provinces experiencing inflation and 15 provinces recorded experiencing deflation. The highest inflation was recorded in Bengkulu Province, by 1.38 percent, and the lowest was recorded in West Papua Province by 0.12 percent. Meanwhile, the shallower deflation was recorded in East Nusa Tenggara Province by -0.003 percent, while the deepest was recorded in Gorontalo Province reaching -2.08 percent.
